The Oulu subproject researchers, PI Katariina Holma and Hanna-Maija Huhtala, attended the International Network of Philosophers (INPE) conference, which took place at the University of Quebec at Montreal, August 11.-14.2026. The conference was organized jointly with the John Dewey Society Conference. Huhtala and Holma presented their paper “Expanding the Epistemology of Deliberation: Emotions, Symbolic Worlds, and Democratic Education” in the working paper session. Other presenters in the session were Harvey Siegel from the University of Miami and Tone Kvernbekk from the University of Oslo.
